This web site is dedicated to the charity relay race that runs from Emsworth to Basingstoke across the Hampshire countryside. The 2019 race will be on Saturday 18th May 2019.

The purpose of the relay (apart from having fun) is for teams to raise money for the years nominated charities (see below) in addition to the race entry fee. A suggested sponsor form is available for download, or you can setup your own JustGiving or similar page.

Please note: We have discovered that the railway bridge at Alton on leg 13 is likely to be closed on the day of the relay. As a result we will have to modify the course to avoid this. This will affect at least legs 13 and 14. We will update the web site with the new route as soon as we can.

The start time will depend upon entries and will be included with your entry pack you receive before the event. This is likely to be between 9:30am and 10:30am depending on the number of teams entering and your teams speed.

This years charities are The Cafe Project and the Viables Memory Club:

The organisers would like to thank everyone for the money raised last year for The Rosemary Foundation. The total collected for the 2018 challenge was £3314 plus all monies collected and sent direct to the charity via a JustGiving or similar fundraising page.

Keep an eye on the Latest News page for updates.
